2010 *sigh*

Wow I haven't written a blog in a while...

Ok so, new year, new century in fact. Let's hope this one will be better than the last. MUCH better. In truth, it's not looking so promising at present, but hopefully the change that finishing A-levels and going to uni brings will brighten things up. Yet you would have thought people would have learnt by now not to expect too much from the prospect of a new period of time. I mean, look at how successful the so-called 'golden' era was.... New years eve is built up too much as well. Most of the time so much planning and stressing goes to waste. Often you have the best of times when you go somewhere or do something spontaneously. Plans hardly ever work out the way you want them to anyway... I spent new years eve doing a 1000-piece puzzle. :)

Sooo... since last writing... AS-level exams. woooo lol. They didn't go too bad. Start of A-level work. Eww. Applying to UCAS. Well, let's just say I was glad when that process was over. And I'm sure many others are too. :P So far I have 4 out of 5 offers. I'm still waiting for Leicester to get back to me. But tbh I'm not overly worried about university stuff atm. I'm just trying to focus on managing all my A-level work. Emotionally it hasn't been too good. Several people issues, y'know. (N) Read several books, many TV and film highlights (y) A lot of good TV this year can't wait for. Hustle :D!!! Skins is backkkkk! :) The B-B Theory (colon, close bracket) xD Ashes to Ashes last series :S:S and Glee is very good haha, amongst other things..... Saw New Moon last year (thats weird... it'll take me till December to remember to write '2010' *rolls eyes*) A lot better in following the book than Twilight was, I thought. Likewise with HP ;) Bring on the next ones haha :D Several music highlights for me too. My main task was to convince people that The Beatles are the greatest band of all time. They weren't having any of it unfortunately :( Oh well, I have all their music now :D:D:D:D!!!!

I've been mentally studying peoples' voices and speech patterns recently. Mine, for example, is more defined and forceful when I am speaking loudly, trying to make myself heard to a person over everyone else. When a particular voice is louder than usual it can become more pronounced, and this might give an arrogant, conceited impression. I've also been considering the term 'stuck-up' recently. It is possible for this term to be mistaken for isolation. This very isolation being a mixture of self-inflict and due to the actions and outcomes of other factors. Perhaps one accused could have been isolated and driven away, both by their own nature and by those same accusers, and in turn they give off an air of snobbery.

What I fail to understand is why certain people choose to be nice as pie to someone directly, but when that someone says a general remark to someone else or the room at large, that 'nice' person seems to think it appropriate to roll their eyes, give a hairy, throaty snort, or imitate them at a pitch 3 octaves up from the original (indeed, a pitiful imitation). Could they possibly think that the person they are mocking is entirely blind/dumb/deaf/stupid? A contradiction in its most questionable form? Well not really... people often retort to that kind of behaviour because they do not like the fact that a person is saying something correct, accomplished or that they are incapable of understanding or relating to. For the most part, people unable to understand valid comments about things that they dismiss are usually unfamiliar with such passion. So they shun it, seemingly unashamedly. And so shorten they, the stature of their soul. Tis also sad to think that primary school behaviour has not been left there. And now I come to think of it, it will probably never disappear from many.

A lot of people should consider what is truly important in life. People constantly shoot things down all the time, always looking for the negative, before they have even tried looking for the positive. Instead, they should look for the good in things and people, praise things. Look for the good in themselves. No one is the same and no one thinks the same. But it is only fair to consider someone elses' opinions and interests, before either embracing and learning from them, or striking them away. Many people need to remember that life is a cycle. They need to accept that it does not revolve around them. They are part of it. By not accepting this they concur that everyone else is somehow below or unequal to them.

Hmm... character study and psychology would be very interesting to study..... haha

I honestly think A-levels are squishing my creativity. They take up so much time and effort. I don't have time to do half the things I should like, and I haven't worked on any creative writing in so long. :( No re-sits atm but a hell of a lot of coursework etc. So I suppose I better get on with it :/ Ob-la-di, ob-la-da.....

Also... this made my day when I saw it :D :D

Save the tub :)

Hey, how ya doin'?

I appreciate that this is a very long blog, you don't have to read it, just join save the tub :)

Quick catch-up:
Swamped in coursework lately, only 2 weeks left till study leave in which to finish it all!
Wow, 2 weeks. That's scarely quite frankly lol.
Andddd........I've finished English coursework! YESSSS!!! Haha! It was quite brilliant tbh. But the stupid word limit Grrrrr!!! >:( haha!
Year 5 Open Day yesterday which was funny. I can't talk to people very easily, especially if I don't know them, and as a rule I generally don't like small talk. So..that went down well haha! Jock did most of the talking anyway. LOL hehehe

I would like to express my anger and exasperation towards ABC.
Why the helllll do they always cancel the best shows!!!
Now, they have completely undermined their own ethos with Kyle XY. Despite the warning from the producers that the series would end in a cliffhanger, it was still a shock to see the magnitude of what was left up in the air. It just so happens, sorry happenED to be the most beautiful show ever. It diplays such powerful emotions, and the basic, raw fundamentals of life and the human condition. It focuses on love and joy and why people do what they do. More than anything its about helping people and doing the right thing.

Yet, could someone please tell me why the last episode of season 3, ie. the last ever, ends with Kyle strangling Cassidy, and with the family kidknapped? And all that 'Nicole was right, I had changed. Because the old me would never have done this...' bang! Blah blah. Yehh, good for a season finale, as usual. But seriously, you can't just STOP there. Its like the floor has been taken from under his feet and abruptly, its just not there anymore. It hasn't resolved. I realise the following is contradictory relating to cadences but it doesn't even matter if its an 'impefect' or 'interrupted' ending as it were, as long as its not 'unfinished.' We didn't even see the family. How could you honestly stop there?!!?! You need to atleast resolve that situation!!

I would be happier if they finished the show with him finally living the life Adam wanted him to, helping people, and by people I don't mean Latnok, or any other "well-meaning scientists." Even if that means living away from his family to protect them. Except Declan obviously, because Kyle would finally help Foss to forgive himself and stop chasing the ghosts and the shadows of his past, and move on with the life he never thought he'd be able to have again. And then Declan would naturally assume his role at Kyle's side, having always been his right-hand man/secret-keeper. And that would mean Lori and Declan would actually (finally) end up together where they belong, because of course she would be the only one who would understand Declan's need to be with Kyle. Josh and Andi would end up together, I'm sure. I love them, their relationship is real, and lots of fun :)

Steven and Nicole would finally get more time alone with each other, but despite the looming "teenage angst" they would miss their children, and the abnormal chaos and, lets face it, tragedy brought by Kyle's past. Yet of course, all he himself ever brought was love and compassion.

As for Kyle himself, well...after the "current" dilemma is solved in some way, I think his relationship with Jessi would continue to grow. Ultimately, her death has been foreshadowed several times, yes I think she will die eventually. An X-man style battle between her and Kyle someday would be cool. She would again be possessed by the dark side of herself. I think its important to understand though, I don't think it was ever intended for one to be good and the other evil. But just look at the juxtiposition between both of their "births," as it were; Kyle awoke in natural daylight surrounded by the vivid green of the forest. Despite being a 'sixteen-year-old new born,' his true character was shown immediately in Matt Dallas' goofy, gourgeous voice-overs and what happens to him, pretty much from that point, starting with the snake, which he lets escape. Whereas Jessi...well...that man wasn't so lucky. She was "born" at night in the explosion, in a time of death, anger, pain, blood, fire and anguish. So its a question of whether it is her true nature, or just unfortunate circumstances. It is true to say though, that she is definitely a take on her mother, and I believe that Sarah's fabricated story would have come true if she let it. Which is what would have happened to Jessi I think.

Or else she joins yet another evil corperation, tries to convince Kyle to do the same. Their objective isn't Kyle though, its something else. But of course she will always love him and will try to protect him, thinking the best way to do this is via. him joining her. I'm still thinking X-men style here. If it came to a battle she wouldn't mind, they're pretty evenly matched in terms of fighting, maybe Jessi is better, led by her desperate determination and aggression and her need to impress and be accepted. Yet of course, she would never kill him. And I think Kyle would win anyway, due to his good nature and his love etc. etc. And if you think about it, Jessi uses her powers to feel special, accepted and included and better than or above others. She lies and manipulates people into doing what she wants essentially. She destroys and fights and causes pain. (Although of course this might not be her fault entirely. I didn't particularly like or dislike Jessi to start with. I still don't dislike her, in fact she has grown on me considerably. I appreciate that she is trying to do the right thing. And besides, you can't deny the rush and the fireworks and the sparks etc. as opposed to the 'butterflies' with Amanda?) Whereas Kyle, refuses to do such things. Instead he helps others, lies for others for the right reasons, like Amanda's car in The Lies That Bind, he cures cancer!! (arguably) haha! I believed that he did, personally. It's just the difference between them.

Perhaps Kyle would then meet Amanda again. After breaking away from her sheltered life (and her mother), and living and experiencing things a bit, Amanda would have grasped a better perspective of the world. She really is a good person, always seeing the best in people. But perhaps this was her weakness. She was never naive though, I mean, look at Jessi. Her music might just 'bring them together' again, and her and Kyle might continue their relationship, forming a deeper love and connection, breaking free of the, in a sense, puppy love that they previously had. I'm not saying it wasn't true love - it was. It was absolutely heart-breakingly devastating. But it wasn't real enough, if that makes sense. It was all 'Oh I left my other clothes inside, I'll just go back and get them' 'No I'll go' 'No I'll go' 'Oh, okay, if you must' 'Always' :P lol And look where that got them :( haha.

I think it would be very emotional if Amanda were to get caught up in it all and be killed. Maybe he would have to choose between her and his family or people he doesn't know or the world, and he tries to save them all but can't. He thinks its his own fault and this would haunt him forever. That would make really good drama. I cry every episode anyway, its so amazing. What is particularly heart-warming, besides the Kyle-Amanda-Jessi-break-up whatever situation, is obviously the Josh/Andi battle with cancer and her leaving and their growing up antics etc. haha But also, Kyle and Nicole's connection; if it wasn't for her, Kyle would have probably never known such a life of love and compassion, who knows what would have happened to him? Foss and Adam..no, not such a complete life. Anyway, their talks together are just so emotional and lovely...

It is argued that a true hero is meant to end up alone. This is perhaps true. Does Kyle have a soulmate? Does such a person/thing exist? If so, Jessi or Amanda? Both? Neither? Someone else? Hmm...

Perhaps his ultimate sacrifice would be his family, he would safe them, but only so they could carry out the rest of their lives. Then he would leave, and in doing so, leave the life and the people he loved, not looking back, and then attempting to live the life he was intended to by Adam, and fulfilling his destiny and purpose to use his gifts to help people.

This is such a good show...!!! Why did people stop watching it!!! Now, I'm not blaming the writers of course, they're amazing ("Rupert here uses 2%" lmao!), it's not their fault, it's ABCs. >:(
Kyle XY was ABC Family channel’s highest rated original series from June 2006 - July 2008. The show lost its reign when the series premier of The Secret Life of the American Teenager brought in 2.8 million viewers. According to the same press release, Kyle XY received a household rating of 2.1 and reached 2.6 million viewers. The repeat showing of the first episode on sister broadcast network ABC had more than 5.2 million viewers, which is just ridic!! lol Several news sources said low ratings is one of the reasons for the series' cancellation. The third season premiere (in a new time slot, with high-viewership lead-in The Secret Life of the American Teenager) had 1.5 million total viewers, down 33% from the Season 2 opener, and most ABC Family shows significantly outperformed the show. The second episode slid to 1.426 million viewers.

Yehh, it is true that the third season wasn't AS good as the first two, and I'm still trying to work out why, but it was still amazing! Jeez! lol. Maybe it was the fact that there was no mystery anymore, and all the answers to all the questions from series 1 were just given to him right at the beginning of series 2. Maybe they didn't like Jessi XX? Or were just tired of the same old 'oh its another evil company that want Kyle and Zzyzx info in his head lol! And then, oh we blew that company up so lets form another one..it did get a bit samey lol. Perhaps people just miss his cute, early epiphanies :)

Yehh I've evaluated enough, I seriously could write the next series lol.
But seriously...its such an amazing show. It has so many different elements to it, its a teen drama, a family drama - yes its very central on family - and obviously its a sci-fi, and of course it also has romantic and comic elements to it. But what is most striking is the basic raw fundamentals it explores...

Kyle: (voice over) The more humans try to define themselves, the more they drown in their own confusion.

Kyle: Where are we running?
Steven: No place.
Kyle: Why are we running?
Steven: Just..to escape, to keep fit. We started at what, 10 past? Gotta go atleast half hour.
Kyle: But time is just numbers people made up. So you can never escape time, you can never just be.

Lori: I'm gone.
Nicole: No breakfast?
Lori: No time.
Kyle: (voice over) How could she not have enough time? It was all they talked about.

Kyle: (voice over) It was as though winning clouded everything.

Kyle: Rats are your...enemies?
Steven: No, but when they start paying rent they can put down people traps. (laughs) No, we just don't want them in the house.
Kyle: So you...kill them?

There's a reason why people say we shouldn't expect too much, no one wants to see someone they care about end up disappointed. We instinctively act to protect our own from being hurt, and do what we can to make the right choices for people we love. But the reason we have expectations in the first place, is because we want to aim as high as we can. Because when you love someone, there's no limit to what you can accomplish.

Every story has a beginning and every life has meaning of potential.

In life everybody gets labeled. People try to tell us who we are meant to be, but its up to us decide wither or not the label fits.

Change within and change the world around you.

The briefest connections can make the strongest and most indelible impressions.

Life is far from perfect science so statistically speaking we are all bound to slip up.

People live much of their lives in uncertainty of what might happen in a week, a month, even a year.

Josh: Why'd you come? (the woods)
Kyle: I came so that my family could find me.
Stephen: I think we just did.

Memories are a way of keeping the past alive, some are so painful we never want to visit them again. But a memory can also be a gift, something we can open again and again in order to fill ourselves with happiness.

Kyle: (voice-over) Everywhere I looked I saw people connecting. At first I thought people gathered by how they dressed, but bonds were acknowledged in more subtle ways too. Attitude, skin color, gender. There didn't seem to be any one way to figure out how these groups were formed. I had to wonder… would I find anyone like me in this place?

Kyle: (voice-over) I just learned of every human tragedy, war and disaster, but Amanda presented the most difficult lesson. I could tell which answer would relieve her and which she didn't want to hear.

Josh: Now explain this to me. That whole private tutor was such a sweet deal, but you want to go to class with the rest of us?
Kyle: If I don't, I'll be alone.
Lori: You'd be lucky. No vicious back stabbers to deal with.
Josh: And those are her friends.
Lori: Seriously, it's not like you need to go to school. You already know everything.
Kyle: Facts. Maybe some dates. But if I'm stuck with a tutor all day, I'll never learn what I really need to know. (pause as both Tragers look at Kyle expectantly) Why do people do what they do?

Okayy no time to write anymore lol...but I simply must share some of my favourite comedy moments. Although tbh, I've never been dissapointed...every quote! :D

Kyle: Yo! Let's get some juice down here!
(entirely family stares)
'Sup? Everyone takin' stupid pills around here? Juice Me!

Josh: Mum is that how you talk to a dog? "Do it again!" Watch this...Kyle, speak!
Kyle: I felt weird when Mike Suby put his hands down my pants because all I kept thinking about were these warts on his hands. (Lori is mortified)

(Kyle pulls back shower curtain)
Josh: Mom! Mom, there's a psycho in the shower!! (runs out of bathroom, drops play pen magazine, Nicole picks it up and gives him a 'look,' Josh worries, pulling up his trousers)

(Kyle walks into kitchen and grabs a banana)
Nicole: Kyle, why was your door locked this morning?
Kyle: Ermm...(Amanda is in there)
Josh: Maybe he just needed some privacy, Mom. Y'know..privacy?
(Kyle walks away, clueless)
Josh: Think he's off to peal his banana?

*swish*
Kyle: Boo-yah! Now THAT'S the kizzle dizzle!

Josh: (after Kyle has given a complex explanation) Well, thank you Mr Wikipedia.

Lori: This seemed like a good idea 4 beers ago.

Mr. Preston: Young man. (Referring to Josh leaving the hot tub after he got caught skinny dipping.)
Josh: I can’t! Zits, old people, zits, old people…
Mr. Preston: I’m going to count to three. One, two…
Josh: Grapefruit! (runs out of hot tub)

Josh: Houston, we have a problem.
Stephen: What's up?
Josh: Funny you should ask...

Josh: I can't wait to fall asleep. Last night, the entire Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue came to life! Just me and seven super models. I am so primed for the sequel.
Nicole: Sweet dreams.
Josh: Oh, they will be!

Kyle: So we come to the pool, but don't swim. And we scope babes, but we don't talk to them?Josh: It's a cruel world, I just live in it.

Amanda: Funny how i came to prom with my two left feet
Kyle: Oh, I didnt notice. How do you buy shoes then?
Amanda: It's an expression, but I guess you already knew that didn't you?

(when Foss is stuck hanging on to climbing wall in warehouse)
Kyle: Don't move!
Even Foss had to laugh haha classic!

Kyle: Lorrie, I need clothes!
(Lori comes in and he's standing there naked)
Lori: Kyle, you need to learn about modesty!
Kyle: I'm not modest?
Lori: And apparently not Jewish either. (laughs)

(Kyle sleeping in the tub)
Lori: Kyle! Come on, I have to go to work.
Stephen: First he couldn’t sleep, now he’s Rip van Winkle… Kyle! Kyle!
Lori: Dad, this isn’t right, I have to take a shower before I go to work.
Stephen: Yeah, ok. But… Kyle first. (Stephen turns the shower on. The water wakes Kyle in the tub, who is now soaked. Kyle sits up and looks around.)
Stephen: Next!

(Dr. Stone is checking Kyle; looking in his ears, mouth, etc...)
Kyle: (in his mind) I had no idea what he was looking for.
Dr. Stone: Kyle, open. (Kyle doesn't understand) Ahh. (Dr. Stone opens his own mouth wide, Kyle follows his lead)
Kyle: (still in his mind) or why he thought he'd find it in my mouth. Maybe it was in his. (looks into Dr. Stones mouth)

Kyle: (while taking a bath) Now I'm the tea bag!

These are literally scratching the surfaces of the first few episodes, I mean, I haven't even mentioned Andi's strictly need-to-google insults haha! Or many of Josh's comments. Or Jessi's for that matter haha! Or even Hilary with her ''I'm Hilary and I'm fabulous!'' lark haha! or any of the other amazingly awesomely funny and goofy situations throughout the show. It is hard to even start lol.

Oooh dear, yes I've talked about this for long enough I think haha! Seriously, I feel restless and unfulfilled due to the intense cliffhanger and the END of the show. :(

Haha its just so great hehe :) All the cast are amazinggg, as are the writers and ABC are demented and dilusioned to think they people will give up quietly and not kick up a storm about it. The thing that people need to understand is that we've had enough of typical teenage dramas where everyone has problems but they're all so beautiful that it doesn't matter and morals are all out the window. This show has much more potential than ABC gives it credit for.

Oh Kyle :) Save the Tub!!!

I'm naming my bunny 'Bernie' :)

Okay...characteristics.

A lot of the time, most people think I'm moody or intimidating.
1. Sometimes they're right, but maybe they should ask themselves a) sometimes one cannot always be constantly happy and cheerful and that we all, once in a while, are obligated to surrender to the wave of melancholy that usually surrounds us in certain hard times. b) perhaps the particular 'moody' person is just really deep in thought or contemplating something important or unpleasant. c) maybe that particular 'moody' person is sick of everyone, or in some cases the same person, asking her whats wrong over and over and over again. d) maybe that particular 'moody' person just doesn't appreciate her current situation or COMPANY. e) just deal with it.
Yeahh?
Mmm.
lol

Anyway... Easter holidays...yay!!
I haven't been up to much, but still, it's nice to have a break from school, even if I have got loads of work to do. I must admit, I haven't done nearly as much work as I could have done. But I'm not that worried at the mo. I know I will be though, especially with History, since theres sooo much to learn and its soooo hard anyway, plus theres no coursework so it all depends on the exam!! :S Oh well lol. Everything else will be okay though once I've completed all the coursework. I only actually have four exams left which is AWESOME!! :D lol

Well the Twilight double disc DVD extras were very inspiring hehe :)
Also, Madagascar Escape 2 Africa is actually pretty darn fantastic!! I do love Ben Stillerrrr :D:D:D In fact, the whole cast is actually AMAZING lol. will.i.am's 'Motto Motto' "ladie's man" voice is hilarious haha! "Girl, you huge." ;)
Oh my goshh did anyone else know about Bernie Mac? I didn't know and was completely shocked! :(

I watched an old episode of Starsky and Hutch this morning. That programme is epicly sexy and fabulously funny :D:D:D (L)

Can't waittt for 17 Again this week :D
I know it will be great hehe :)
A better opportunity for Zac to show his real acting skills, I think :)
Speaking of, can't wait for Bandslam ("Will") with Vanessa either. Saw first non-internet trailer on the Twilight DVD actually. Haha! Leah Clearwater? Hmm...I wonder...V will have to get her bitchy side out!! Haha! Well, no, Leah's not a bitch. She's just broken, broken by love. And terribly unfortunate. But underneath it all shes very caring, if a little too fiesty haha!
Rob did meet Zanessa at the Academy Awards actually. Haha it was soo funny...hes so tall compared to Zac, and V is small anyway hehe! But Rob is just rambling on about something and laughing to himself as usual and Zac and Vanessa just look politely interested, as they usually do in company hahaha! Cute.

Currently listening to a random Spice Girls song. Fantastic lol. I swear someone told me that the Spice Girls were the devil's spawn the other day lol.

Okay, I've just been rambling as usual lol. Oh well. Its not like anyone reads this anyway lol.

So everything else is kinda okay, I guess. Feel a bit left behind though.

Ooh! I have a malteser Easter Egg, a High School Musical 3 one, which is just classic, and a T-Shirt with a bunny on lol.
And now I'm off to make a marble cake of some description lol.

Happy Easter!!!

Mittens, Carrots and Random TV Babblings

New blog.
Okey dokey.
Btw sorry that I haven't written one in so long to those who actually read this. I've just been so unbelievably busy.
Right, what to talk about…

Mittens are cool. :)

Hmm... Well, I suppose I could update you on the home front.
My sister is still at "that age" hmm… complaining rather a lot, going out with friends, easily influenced, spoilt, that kind of thing. But hey…I'm sure I was spoilt too...obviously...because I'm such a materialistic superficial bitch who always expects the best…naturally. Haha!
Oh...my mum has officially broken her wrist in 2 places...and possibly dislocated the bone. And if it is dislocated, that means when this first cast comes off a few pins. :S eek! And at her age, osteoperosis tests. Ha! I make her sound really old lol. So basically she cant do anything which means more housework for me…and she can't drive!! It was her own silly fault!! Bless her lol. And she just had an op on her leg so she must be a bit sick of hospitals by now! Haha!

Personally, I don't know what the big deal is about NHS hospitals. I mean, they can't do anything about the A&E room on Saturday night, not if there are more urgent cases of dying bloody footie fans who got a bit too big for their boots and starting fighting!!! Long story hehee! But seriously, I don't see the big deal. I've been to hospital tons of times, but fortunately never stayed there overnight myself (unless you count in the A&E room), or been in for an op *touch wood*. Despite this though, I have been to visit friends and relatives in wards many times! And I generally love hospital wards - the nurses are really friendly and you usually meet loads of funny friendly patients!! Of course, there is the risk of disease…but hey! Okay, I think I've just completely contradicted myself. Yarpp.

Oooh Night at the Museum 2 coming out soon! Cannot WAIT!!! Did I ever mention that I'm a massivve fan of Ben Stiller? Well, yehh, I am hehe! He's actually a genius. I'm not even going to bother arguing that point. Because you just can't deny it. Its just like, one of those things, like, fair play, you know? Okay, now I'm starting to sound like Dr Mann. Apologies. Haha!

Those who know me have probably been surprised that I haven't written a blog about Twilight or anything related. Hmm…there's an idea! But to be perfectly honest, one blog wouldn't cover it, I'd have too much to say, and right now I've just got far too much work to do to hehe! But it is another of those instances when people tend to focus on the films! I have a long standing argument with a couple of my friends who seem to think that just watching the film of something that was originally a book seems to always suffice in understanding and appreciation. Ermmm…NO!!!!! Sorry, but I'm very firm on this. The book is usually always better. I think I've only ever found two exceptions; the films being very different from the books, but still similar in some ways, if that makes sense. But the spins were very refreshing, and one of these is actually one of my all time favourite films!!

Okay, maybe I will say a little something about Twilight. Rosie will appreciate it! Haha!
I'm sorry guys who hate it! But seriously it's fab! Relations with characters and situations are impeccably clear; cleverness and ambiguity of themes and language; emotional lines crossed on all fronts; fantastic imagination and intuitition, and it breaks away from typical clichés; depicts a relationship that is beyond a normal one, so breathtakingly powerful that I doubt even the author can fully comprehend it, as amazing as she is; Bella and Edward will go down alongside Romeo and Juliet, Lizzie and Darcy, as the most prominent romantic figures in history; the series also looks at the typical behaviour of humans, and is a celebration of life and its potential - this is mainly confronted by looking at death, as you cannot have one without the other...not even for THEM.
*breathe*
It's just amazing tbh.
:)

Oh just to clarify, and avoid confusion, I do still adore the film Twilight!!! lol!
:)
They did a good job (Y)
Can't wait for New Moon!
And Midnight Sun for that matter. :(
Oh well.

Okay, don't worry, that's all I'm saying on the subject. But seriously...mmm!!!!
Haha!

Should be going to see Confessions of a Shopaholic tomorrow with a few friendys. Should be good. (Y)
Hugh Dancy :P

Oh, and I've decided Rosie actually does float my boat :)
She makes me wetter than an Otter’s pocket to be honest ;)

And to my friend that needs to be cheered up a bit. Chill dude. As my uncle once said to my friend:
“Tis far better to be pissed off than to be pissed on, son.”
:D

Skins last night was the cutest, loveliest, most infuriating episode yet!!! Freddy!!! (L) That water park lake scene was just amazing! And the classroom scene when they sat next to each other. Cookie monster!!! *anger anger anger!!!* Can anyone sense I'm angry? I'm angryyyy!!! Biatch! No one would fuck you anyway Cook! :P Of course I'm sure the actor is great in real life lol. JJ is just soo cute and funny tehee! And I like Naomi too, she's the most like me in personality I think. Effy just needs to get a bloody heart! (no pun intended) Cook is occasionally funny and I love his responses to JJ but tbh he's just a prat. Panda is cute, some of the stuff she comes out with is just hilarious haha! Thomas!!!! He's just amazing!! Hello, my name is Thomas, so pleased to meet you! :) Teehee!
Although I love how they've assembled the various characters and individual and intertwining plot lines, I do think that there are too many characters to keep up with on the same close levels as each episode suggests. You kind of get the feeling that you've missed something when it comes to the next episode. It would be better with two episodes a week. That, and I just can't wait a whole week! It's such a struggle! Hehe!
Some of the plots are a little ridiculous, but hey, more realistic than High School Musical right? Haha! :P
Some people have said Skins is rubbish this year with new people, but come on it's a teen drama, realistically they have to move on!! Duhh!! Haha!

Conversely, I've also been watching 90210 which is cool. (Y) There's a bunch of teenage characters who are so obviously older than the parts they're playing, and who have some serious problems. But it's all good, 'coz everyone's so damn beautiful!!
Yay :D
:

Now, which is more realistic, even for Beverly Hills, Skins or 90210? Haha!

I've also been watching Hustle, which is finished now, but it was good while it lasted. I've always watched it. I liked this series, although I think I pretty much always guessed what they had done…except the toads, I didn’t see that one coming! Haha! I really miss Danny and Stacey, but yehh I do like Emma and Sean. I figured out where I've seen her before! Holby City! Hahaha!

Edward's dot dot dot-ing is annoying me!!!
... every other line!!
Grrr!
Seriously, what does that even MEAN?!!?!
What kind of a loser would do something like that?!!

...

Yarrr...

I'm currently listening to Elvis Presley, Blue Suede Shoes.
He's just a legend.
Now, Bootsy Collins and Fat Boy Slim.
Youtube it ;)
If you care.
*shrugs*
:)

Did you knowww...
Mel Blanc, the guy who did the voice for Bugs Bunny, is actually allergic to carrots!!!
:O
Ironic.

Anyways I'm off to do my much abused work for the last half hour or so.
Much love.

The Pink Scarf, the Big Nose and the Rolling Sausage

Oh my COD!!!
I havent updated this in so so long!
Apologies.
Sincerely.
Hmm... that doesn't make sense does it?

I have been -- and still am -- soooo unbelievably busy!!!
Don't believe me??
Hmftt!!

Well, theres...
Young Enterprise stuff
Volunteering work
Swifties
Choir
Getting involved with the play
etc etc
Not to mention all my normal homework (if you could call it that) and lets face it, I do more than a lot of people, despite what some say.
Then theres, y'know, my life.
Oh wait, I don't have one!!!
Sorry, my mistake.
*rolls eyes*

So anyhuuu.. moving on...

Oh yeah! Haha! the School Concert was a couple of Fridays ago. That was a laugh hehe!
I still don't understand why they call it a 'Christmas Concert' when its in November!!!
Ooh its December!!! Yayness!!!!
I hope you guys are all tucking into your advent calendars!
Mine's the coolest. Obviously. 3 guesses as to what it is haha!
*rolls eyes again*

Anyway, yehh, the concert was good. I thought we sang quite well considering we didn't have Mrs M on the night, bless her, and we only had 2 days to practice the first song!! And us sopranos only got given the words on the morning of the concert!! Although in the end, we decided to use words, so it was alright (Y)
And even better as Big nose wasn't poking me in the side for the duration. (:
Also, we finished instead of Windband for a change! They were so distraught! lol
Josh and I had a blast. We were singing along to 'White Christmas' but getting the words mixed up haha! And who else thought the first steel band should have kept repeating until 9 oclock?? lol Oooh! The Lower School and Boys Choir were epic!
I believe I can flyyyyy! ahhhhh!!!
Teeheeheeee!!!
And of course the highlight: Chloe. (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) (thats x4 thumbs up there Chloe, 2 for me, and 2 for Josh :P) Enough said. haha!
Oh and what happened afterwards. That will probably haunt me for years to come lol.
Oh and Billy did i make you jump!! Rosie said it wouldn't work and you'd see me, but you sooo didn't!! :P
So yehh, overall, twas a goood concert! The exposed parts of songs are still a bit dodgey though, need to work on that for the Carol Service.. yay!

Now, I dunno about anyone else, but I really like the Carol Service. Theres always a really good atmosphere, everyones happy coz its Christmas and the end of term, and obviously its a change from the norm, as everyone escapes a ordinary thursday afternoon. Maybe me liking it has something to do with the fact that the choir sits in the Church choir stands at the front, practically out of sight of teachers, especially if you sit on the back row. The only time you draw heads is if you drop your folder in the middle of a speech or prayer *cough Josh!* haha! fun!

Also, at one point fairly recently (can't remember exactly when) I went to see Holli's play thingy with Jimmy, which was fun (Y)
GROWING PAINS!!!
Bitches!!
Hahahahaha! That was sooo funny :D

And other bits n' bobs.
NSPCC do's were great. The Fashion Show brought in loads, but the ball even more, it was fantastic, and reportably so.
But omg this woman at the Fashion Show sitting practically opposite me, had her mouth open in digust the whole time. Although she wasn't, it was just how she looked, it was sooo funny! My Mum and I were in fits!!! She actually looked like that lol Its hard to explain, one of those 'you-had-to-have-been-there moments'
Just to clarify.. I don't laugh at everyone!!!
No matter what people say.
I just sometimes get all giddy and stupid.
Most of time its just people who remind me of someone I knew/know and I find it funny somehow. Other times, its just plain funny lol.

Young Enterprise is always fun haha! I made loooads of sales Friday lunch yay!!!
I'm just good with people (when I'm in a good/people mood of course)
Sold my little buddy a scarf for his mum for Christmas. Awwww hehe! And some other random people some rather stunning hats hehe!!
Yep. Its allll good. Tradefair on Saturday. I'm sure we'll kick ass.
Well.. it will be a bit early.
As long as I have some granny tea on the way in the mini-bus and we don't get stuck in too much traffic I'll be fine. lol

Best insult of the day:

Why don't you.. go and boil some potatoes on a ring, and fry a single silver fish..
:)

Joke of the day.
This ones my Grandad's favourite joke and it always makes me smile :)
Well, probably not his favourite, but when he told it to me as a kid, I guess it was the only one I could understand, or not too rude haha!
Ok.

Why did the sausge roll?

Because it saw the apple turnover!!!

Haha! funny right?!

*chuckle*

Also, will someone agree with me on this please...
You get some people you laugh at because theyre funy right. They tell funny jokes etc.
But there are other people who are just funny. And its not like you're laughing at them, they just make you laugh naturally because its them. Like their mannerisms and ways and stuff. And some things they say, its just typical of them to say. And you're like, 'omg that was such a typical so-and-so thing to say!' etc.
Anyone get what I mean??
Please speak now.
Or forever hold your peace! *scary booming voice*

Ooh going to see this years school play on friday, shall report on it most likely. I'm sure it'll be great though. Good luck to everyone involved, well Jimmy really, seeing as hes probably the only one with a blog in the play!! lol
Will also be putting a stand up for YE in the interval, before and after, so should be good (Y)
:)

Anyhuu.. best be off now, bedtime, almost lol.
plus still have loads of work to do :S

Toodlepip!

The Pumpkin, the Ortega Flavour and the End of Something that was New?

Ooh haven't written a blog in like, almost a week!
I've been busy.
:)

Happy birthday to Rosebud (for yesterday)! And Calum (today)! And Soph (tomorrow)!
Yayness.
I hope you are all satisfied with your pressies *rolls eyes*
But for Rosie and Calum the best present will be coming tomorrow!
Thats right folks, its HSM3!

Now, I know what you're all thinking.."Omg how can a supposed sixteen-going-on-seventeen-year-old possibly be interested in something as ridiculous and stupid as that!" (although you were all probably thinking of somewhat ruder versions, but anyway all along those lines) And now I suppose you've stopped even reading this.
Oh well I'm gonna keep typing anyway lol

Yes, High School Musical is occasionally cheesy, but that's funny guys! lol Its actually too corny, squeaky-clean and wholesome for most critics :P
But I did read one review, saying:

'The plot isn't actually rigged with dramatic tension. It bears the same relation to real teenage problems that Strictly Come Dancing has to the oeuvre of Ken Loach.'

Well how the bloody hell would they know?? They're not a teenager are they? Grrr!
One is very foolish to forget what it is like to be young. Albus Dumbledore wasn't half right.

Poohead. lol

A little known fact, its actually based on Romeo and Juliet, reference them coming from different "cliques" etc. It displays a morally just message, about being who you are, realising your dreams and having the courage to chase them, and not letting anyone tell you who to be or what to do, and people just accepting you for who you are etc etc etc.

I really don't want to bore you with any of this.
Hmm..a bit late for that, you say?
Oh.

AND THE SONGS ARE AMAZZZZINGGG!
Even Jess said he liked the one he heard, and started tapping, "Well, Meg, I must admit its better than what I thought it was going to be, I'd thought it'd be all mushy-gushy."
So..HA!
:P

HSM4 won't be as good obviously.
But I'm lovin' Jemma whos playing 'Tiara.' Oh it had to be Tiara didn't it! Haha! Shes a transfer student from England. In 'Senior Year Spring MusiCAL' she sings the word 'dance' with an English accent most predominantly. Heehee!

Also me likey Jimmy "The Rocket!" Well cute!
"All I wanna do is be with (Sharpay: eww!) youu"
Rock on lol

You're carr-rraazzz-zzzyy wildcats! XD

Ok ok, I won't go on about it anymore.
Although my next blog will more than likely be a list of all my fav quotes from the movie.
For example:
Darbus: [elaborately as usual] We shall call it..Senior Yearrr!
Sharpay: [sarcastically] Genuis!

And:
Sharpay: Hey Troy! Whens the big game!?
[Sharpay's phone beeps]
Ooh!
Troy: Yesterdayy.
Sharpay: Oh. Well good luck! Toodles!
[walks away]
[revealing trophie! but hey, everyone could've guessed that anyway lol]

But I'm seeing it tomorrow!!!!!!
Yaaayyyyy!

So I'm going to take this opportunity, and take my Darbus glasses and go see the ruddy film!
OKAYY
Its sexy.
And it has the Ortega flavour!
And I don't particularly care whether YOU like it or not.
Just don't take the yellow, savvy?
Don't expect social realism. If YOU wanna go see a film about teenage pregnancies and knife crime then feel free, go elsewhere.
At least I'm happy enough to see a HAPPY film about young love and music and dancing and DRAMA BAYBEE and basketball and "young men in baggy shorts, flinging balls for touchdowns!"

Ok, so, today..Harvest Fest!
Twas goood.
A bit spread out though. Which I didn't particularly like.
But yehh..twas good..snaps for Miss Wildman for making it a success! She worked really hard on everything.

And I still don't think that was a pumpkin.
We were trying to figure out what it was in choir.
And yes, I also love marrows (:
And yes, it probably was a prize marrow.
I think we should have a biggest marrow growing contest at school. No? Ok. (:

Funnily enough, we were rehearsing when everyone came in, and they thought it was real, oh no, we're just laughing throughout the entire real performance! Ha!
Although, saying that, I was pretty much laughing..at Rosie! lol
Jimmy, did you see her? Everytime I looked across she was smiling dementedly towards Mrs Missin! haha!

Omg we sounded awful..how embarrassing. Its one thing singing in a concert to people you don't know and with the lights dimmed, but another singing in broad daylight in front of all your friends and everyone you know who can all clearly see you.
Haha! Rosie! You do make me chuckle!

Ooh-a a-yesss!
